Plum Blossom Engraved Shudei Teapot by Kodo | Handcrafted Tokoname Teapot

Features a haiku by Matsuo Basho, which can be translated as:

"Fragrant plum blossoms—
suddenly, the sun ascends
on a mountain path"

Hand-engraved by traditional Tokoname master craftsman Kodo, recognized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and winner of various prizes. The teapot is made by Tokoname craftsman Murakoshi Fugetsu, who learned his craft from Yamada Jozan III, a National Living Treasure and recipient of numerous prestigious prizes.
